Method of determining the thermoviscoelastic parameters of polymers and elastomers

Abstract

A method of determining the thermoviscoelastic parameters of polymers and elastomers based on the identification of the deformation model by experimental dependences of the shear modulus and loss-angle tangent on temperature is suggested. The method is tested with polyethylene terephthalate in the temperature range from -100 to +100°C.
