Abstract

The first studies on the effect of a multipolar impulse on granite and sandstone in a rod-rod electrode system located on the same surface of the sample in an aqueous medium. With the simultaneous action of pulses with different polarity, the total breakdown voltage is less than when exposed to unipolar pulses with an interelectrode distance of 20 mm.
