Abstract

Investigated is the role of mesolevel-mechanisms of cycle deformation in surface layers of polycrystals with strongly different following factors: structural-phase state of the surface layer, the degree of proceeding in it grain-boundary by-pass, level of shear stability of its crystal lattice and the whole inner structure. Experiments were conducted on polycrystals of Ti, Al, Pb and its alloys.
