Abstract
The mechanism of radiation ordering of semiconductor crystals by low doses of gamma -quanta or electrons is suggested. It is based on the chain process of Frenkel pair annihilation caused by radiation. This mechanism is realized in such crystals where the energy yield during annihilation is considerably higher than the annihilation barrier and the density of the defects is higher than some critical one.
