Abstract

A METHOD IS PROPOSED FOR MEASURING THE SPEED OF SOUND IN CONDENSED MEDIA BY MODULATING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF MOESSBAUER SPECTRA USING ULTRASONIC OSCILLATIONS. THE SPEED OF SOUND IS MEASURED ACCURATE TO 0. 3P IN A WIDE RANGE OF FREQUENCIES.
