    Abstract

    Apparatus is described for the determination of the parameters of a continuous closed electron beam, based on measurement of the ionization of the residual gas by the accelerated beam. The spatial resolution of the pickup is determined by the magnetic field induction and is not worse than 1. 5 mm at an induction greater than 0. 04 T. The apparatus was tested in experiments with the beam of a strong-current betatron at electron energy 0. 3-15 MeV.
