N2 - An analysis of the polymorph transformations in sodium cyanide (NaCN), rubidium cyanide (RbCN), and copper chloride (CuCl) crystals shows that the Grüneisen constants for these structural transformations can reach a limiting value of γmax ≃ 4.5.
