Laws of development of deformation folds in [111] copper single crystal at axis compression

    Abstract

    Deformation folds on the surface of copper single crystal with compression axis orientation [111] are analysed. Folds are an element of the deformation relief on meso- and macrolevel secondary to macrobands. Folds are generated in several major crystal areas due to sample bending or striation in its end area.
