Abstract
The processes of thermal decarboxylation and dehydration of humic acids were represented as a sum of independent reactions of first order characterized by specific kinetic parameters. The degree of influence of peat preheating on changes in the summary contribution of the identified reactions in the temperature ranges of 100-250, 250-450, and 450-800°C was estimated. A probable chemical structure of some reaction centers was proposed.
