Abstract

The process of foamed glass production based on the use of sheet, bottle, and lamp cullet was studied. A possibility to use parameters obtained by comparing relative density and porosity of the initial and final states of the material for prediction, control, and kinetic studies of the porous structure formation in foamed glass was shown. Formulae to calculate kinetic parameters and thermophysical properties of glass mixture were proposed.
