Isotopic relations for derivatives of the dipole moment of multiatomic molecules

Abstract

The method of investigating the isotopic dependence in multiatomic molecules proposed earlier by the authors is used to obtain isotopic relations for the first and second derivatives with respect to the normal coordinates; these hold in the case of arbitrary isotope substitution in multiatomic molecules. For some special cases, relationships between the integrated intensities of the isotopic modifications of a molecule are also determined.
