Abstract

The nature of the irregularity of the voltage drop along the length of large-size resistors made of elastomer compositions is investigated. Its difference at the initial stage of use and when operating when there is intensive heat release in the volume of the material is established. Ways of increasing the operating capability of polymer composites in high-voltage electrophysics are proposed.
