Abstract

The aim of the paper is to investigate variations of the free oscillation frequencies (FOF) of the 20Kh13 steel and its composites with surfaced coatings during fatigue failure (FF). It is shown that the FOF variation is connected with the FF kinetics. Possibilities of monitoring the FF of articles from steels and composites with surfaced coatings by means of the FOF method are analyzed.
