Abstract

The solubility of elements of the periodic table in ten simple and seven noble and transition metals and the site location of implanted atoms in beryllium and copper were studied in the framework of the phenomenological model. The soluble and insoluble elements are separated with overall accuracy 87%. The site location of implanted atoms is described with 95% accuracy.
