Information-related features of autonomous inverters for electromechanical applications

The information-related features of autonomous inverters used as the main component in a.c. electric drives are considered. It is shown that for an electric motor the inverter possesses the properties of a power supply and a source of a probing signal. Analytic expressions are given that reflect online techniques for identifying the variables in the rotor of the motors during the operation of the electric drive. An example of the functional scheme of a gyroscopic a.c. electric drive, in which the information-related features of an autonomous inverter are employed.
