Abstract

The purpose of the work is investigation on plastic deformations of surface layer of titan alloys at ultrasonic surface treatment. To investigate ultrasonic treatment affects on the process of nanostructuring of titan alloys a preliminary mechanical treatment was carried out for obtaining different morphology of surfaces. Express-test of effect of ultrasonic surface treatment was made with microhardness measurements. That allowed defining optimum parameters of surface roughness before ultrasonic treatment; those form a full-grown nano-crystalline structure in the surface layer.
