Hysteresis clutch in the electric drive of pipeline valves

Abstract

The results of the analysis of the hysteresis electromagnetic clutches intended to operate in the electric drives of pipeline valves automation systems are presented. It is shown that induction motor with hysteresis clutch based on the Fe-Cr-Co material can be an alternative to technical solutions of smart electric drives with induction motors. The results of electromagnetic analysis of four types of hysteresis clutches for the pipeline valve electric drives with power up to 7.5 kW are obtained.
