Abstract
Optimum conditions are described for the HPLC determination of submicromolar and nanomolar concentrations of 2-, 3-, and 4-aminobiphenyls in deionized water, drinking water and river water. The limits of the detection with a boron-doped diamond film electrode are ca. 10-7 mol l-1. Using solid phase extraction with diethyl ether as eluent, the limits decrease to 10-8 - 10-9 mol l-1.
