High-torque axial-plunger hydraulic motor with phase control of the shaft rotation speed

The article reviews the design and parameters of high-torque axial-plunger hydraulic motor with phase control of the shaft rotation speed. This hydraulic motor is distinguished by a two-row eighteen-cylinder block and a rotary distribution disk with two rows of sickle-shaped distribution windows for supplying and discharging the working fluid. The hydraulic motor differs by a tripled displacement and torque from a similar hydraulic machine, which classifies it a high-torque hydraulic engines. Its power volume increases 1.6 times, and power response more than four times. At the same time, the fluctuation of the shaft rotation speed is measured by the corresponding value of the fluctuation coefficient equal to 0.0154. The phase control provides the hydromotor with a control range of 150...200 and more, while hydraulic motors with variable working volume range maximum 5. Therefore, the new hydraulic machine has a high potential for operating in hydraulic drives of machines.
