High pulse repetition frequency CuBr-laser

Abstract

The high frequency possibilities of CuBr-laser with a high pulse repetition frequency (PRF), using model pumping mode were analysed. Pairs of pulses were generated with the regular PRF of 10-30 kHz. These pulses simulated a mode of regular pulses than a simple method of double pulses. Pure neon was used as buffer gas at the pressure of 30-100 torr. The results confirms that regular PRF more than 500 kHz can be obtained for the laser.
