High-energy ultradispersed metal powders in ceramics technology

Abstract

A possibility to activate the sintering of oxide systems by the addition of metal powders produced with electric pulse spraying has been discussed. It is shown that ultrafine particles with high specific surface obtained by this method make it possible to realize the uniform distribution of the metal on the surface of oxide particles. As shown, the high energetic activity of metal powders contributes to the strengthening of the sintered material.
