    Abstract

    The paper describes the operating modes and construction of a pulsed electron accelerator with inductive shaping element. With accelerating voltages of 480 plus or minus 30 and 650 plus or minus 50 kV the electron current reaches 60 plus or minus 3 and 42 plus or minus 4 kA, respectively, with a pulse duration of similar 50 and similar 35 nsec at 0. 5 of the current amplitude.
