Abstract

Results of an experimental investigation of heat transfer during the flow past differently shaped bodies (hemisphere, flat butt end, butt end with a spherical recess, flat plate), with different methods of discrete feedings of a gaseous cooling medium are presented. The experimental data are generalized and compared with theoretical calculations.
