Computational results for the optical characteristics of various metal-dielectric compositions at 0, 1-1000 mu m are prescribed. An optimum combination of layers in the dielectric-metal-dielectric structure is shown. Theoretical results are compared with the experimental findings. The data obtained were useful in constructing the dependences of the efficiency on the coating parameters for shielded filament bulbs. CeO//2-Ag-CeO//2, TiO//2-Ag-TiO//2, A1N-Ag-A1N and other systems (n//D equals 2,2 minus 2,6) are shown to be most promising for use in heat-reflective shields.
