Abstract
A generator of 0.1 TW pulses with the amplitude to 2 MW and front of 1.5 ns is described. A Marx generator during 200 ns charges a small-inductance condenser (1.8 nF) and radial line (0.9 nF) to 2 MV. When achieving the voltage maximum operates a water electric gap in the center of the radical line and at the line end is shaped a 2.5 MV pulse, which is transmitted along an oil-filled line. In the end of the line there is a sharpening gap in an oil. For operation in the mode of short pulses is foreseen a cutting gap. A pulse with the duration of 20 ns was obtained when using a matched with the line load.
