Abstract

When studying resonant SHF systems having a quality factor of up to 10**1**1 the stability requirements imposed on the frequency of the driving generator are high, as determined by the loaded quality factor. A phase-locked circuit is described for the frequency of a SHF type G4-109 generator with respect to a quartz oscillator. The circuit, which utilizes mostly industrial devices, achieves a frequency instability no worse than 10** minus **8.
