Abstract

A new method of vacuum electron beam facing of wear resistant coatings on the base of Ti alloy binder with embedded TiC, B4C and TiB hard particles has been developed. It is found that wear resistance of the faced coatings exceeds wear resistance of the alloy VT6 3-7 times depending on the mixture composition.
