Abstract

Experimental data on sintering of ceramic materials on the base of aluminum nitride and their physical mechanical characteristics are given. As shown, ceramic materials with needle-like and lamellar structures demonstrate the plastic deformation under bending conditions. The mechanism of microfiber (whiskers) growth during the sintering process and formation of complex structure of ceramic materials is discussed.
