Formation of metal –polymer composite on titanium alloy surfaces

Abstract

The work surveys the possible formation of a polymer composite layer on titanium alloys using ultrasonic treatment. The results of the formed composite layer research obtained by measuring a friction rate and analyzing wear slots are provided, properties of surface layers and special features of their wearing process have been investigated.
