Abstract
Chemical compounds of four-component oxide system (CaO·Al2O3·2SiO2-CaO·SiO2- MgO·SiO2-SiO2) representing the basic crystalline phase of a wide group of electric ceramic materials have been characterized. The physical and chemical processes of formation of crystalline phases in this system during the heat treatment have been considered. The advantages of using diopside raw materials in the production of electric ceramic materials have been shown.
