Abstract

A fast-neutron scintillation spectrometer based on a stilbene single crystal 40 mm in diameter and 10 mm high and an FEU-93 photomultiplier is described. The spectrometer has a circuit for compensation of gamma radiation and is designed for measurement of the spectra and fluxes of neutrons in the energy range of 0. 5-16 Mev in neutron therapy. The results of measurements on the U-120 cyclotron are given.
