Abstract
The construction of a generator with an inductive storage device is described, together with that of its exploding-wire contact breaker, which allows a current of up to 25 ka to be developed in the active load, with a growth time of 40 nsec and a voltage amplitude of 500 kv. Similarity criteria are presented for simulating various parameters of the high-voltage pulses in such generators.
