Abstract
Optimum conditions have been found for the determination of nanomolar and sub-nanomolar concentrations of 9-nitroanthracene in drinking and river water using differential pulse voltammetry at hanging mercury drop electrode after preliminary separation and preconcentration using liquid-liquid extraction with hexane. Linear calibration curves were obtained for liquid-liquid extraction in the concentration range 1 × 10-6-1 × 10-10 mol L-1.
