Abstract
The experimental data on the affect of the height of a right-angle step (h = 10-38 mm) on heat transfer in a flat chamber (H = 100 mm) are presented. The temperature fields and their pulsation components were measured by the sensor of hot-wire probes (TSI). The criterion formulas for the dimensionless coefficient of heat transfer in the case of a streamlined right-angle step of a variable height are obtained.
