Abstract

Isotope exchange reactions in the process of obtaining highly enriched 13C in a cascade of gas centrifuges (GC) working on carbon dioxide have been researched. An experimental isotope exchange reactor (IER) with a nickel catalyst has been tested. The possibility of obtaining highly enriched 13C in a GC cascade using isotope exchange reactions proceeding in IER has been proved.
