Evaluation of the parameters of interface zone formation model

Abstract

In this work, we discuss the formation of interfacial layers in Al-matrix composites with W-coated diamond inclusions. The model takes into account the diffusion and the stages of formation of the phases in the transition zone. The evaluation of the parameters based on thermodynamical data, which is necessary for the numerical analysis, is presented.
