Abstract

A method based on stripping voltammetry is proposed for calculating the parameters of quasi-reversible processes. The procedure rests on polynomial equations for the characteristics of the voltammograms which were obtained by theoretical computer calculations of a mathematical model for quasi-reversible processes. With the procedure proposed, quantities k//s beta z were calculated for seven elements in a number of base electrolytes. Satisfactory agreement of these k//s and beta z with known literature data is shown.
