Estimation of thermodynamic probability of thermolysis of humic and fulvic acids

Abstract

Changes of content of humic and fulvic acids pseudocomponents during peat thermolysis have been calculated using the data of 13C-NMR, infrared spectroscopy and functional analysis. A mechanism of the pseudocomponents transformations upon the thermolysis has been considered and the thermodynamic probability of the reactions proceeding has been estimated. As shown, 21 reactions among 25 selected types of reactions are thermodynamically probable.
