Estimation of the effective YAG phosphor thickness for white LEDs

Abstract

The model is developed that establishes the interrelation of the parameters for obtaining optimal characteristics of white LEDs in terms of light output and a necessary chromaticity of the LED with a specific chip. The results of the characteristics LEDs investigations with different estimation of phosphor thickness are presented.
