Abstract
In the paper we develop a model for the estimation of average mechanical stresses in a "growing coating - flat substrate" system. The task is analytically solved. Basic parameters responsible for the stress growth dynamics in the coating and substrate are found. The parameter influence on qualitative mechanisms of stress evolution in the material with the growing coating is studied.
