Energy efficiency of back-to-back method for induction traction motors testing

Abstract

In this paper the authors examined the possibility of using energy-efficient scheme to test induction traction motors by back-to-back load method. The authors present the results of mathematical and physical modeling of the back-to-back test method that confirm energy efficiency and usefulness of the offered scheme.
