Abstract

The purpose of the given paper is to consider energy saving with the help of an induction motor for a variable speed drive modernization. Realization possibility of energy saving ways at the expense of induction motor modernization without transversal section change has been shown. Carried out economical calculations allow to note that obtained electrical losses cost decreases by 10%, but the increased motor cost as the result of modernization will cover the expenses for less than five months.
