Elements of diffraction quasi-optics

Abstract

The main focusing, frequency and forming properties of focusing diffraction elements have been considered. These elements were made on the flat and curved surfaces. Methods to synthesize such elements have been presented. In particular, information properties of the Frenel zone plate have been described. A certain attention has been paid to the selection of harmonics of coherent radiation and to the control of frequency properties of flat diffraction quasi-optical elements.
