The paper considers and electromachine impulse generator of multidisk compressive type construction which makes it possible to obtain higher specific energetic characteristics in comparison with generators of cylindrical single-air gap construction. It is shown that high specific energy characteristics can be obtained at the expense of increasing an elementary air gap volume and, consequently, at the expense of a strained magnetic field energy.
