Abstract

Regarding precision as the fundamental quantitative parameter for quality control, an earlier production precision theory is developed further as a stochastic electrical machine precision theory for solving a wide range of problems in design, production and service to get quality. Selection of current protection for induction motors is considered as an example. Since precision in production determines reliability in service, a common point of view is presented for optimization search algorithms in automated design and production of, more particularly, induction motors.
