Abstract

The effect of a thermal treatment of a PEG-20M poly(ethylene glycol) stationary phase modified with europium acetylacetonate on its chromatographic properties was studied. The retention indices for a number of sorbates were evaluated. The selectivity of separation of aliphatic alcohols and α-ketones was demonstrated to increase for thermally treated phases.
