Abstract

1. Two electron transitions were isolated by decomposing the absorption spectra of charge-transfer complexes of the series of 9-substitued carbazoles with 2,4,5,7-tetranitrofluorenone, chloranil, and tetracyanoethylene into the Gaussian components. 2. Correlations were found between the structure of the carbazoles and the electron acceptors and the spectra characteristics of their complexes.
