Abstract

Technological characteristics of ultrafine powders on the base of alumina and zirconia prepared by the plasmo-chemical synthesis were studied. It was shown that initial powder had low values of powder density, fluidity and packing ability. Powders pre-treatment by the hydrostatic packing and following grinding in ball mill led to the variation of shape and size of particles, increase of powder density, fluidity, packing and baking ability.
