Abstract
Dynamics of regional cerebral blood flow and filling was assessed in 8 patients with chronic disturbances of cerebral circulation treated by plasmapheresis. In patients with occlusive atherosclerosis of brachiocephalic arteries initial regional blood flow was decreased while regional filling and filling/flow ratio were increased at the site of predominant lesion. Plasmapheresis affected positively local cerebral blood flow and filling in these patients.
