Effect of low fluence γ-irradiation on position of Y, Ba, Cu in YBa2Cu3O7-x ceramics

Abstract

The influence of the low doses of gamma-radiation (1400-4400 Gr) on the state of Y, Ba, Cu in YBa2Cu3O7-x high-temperature superconductive (HTSC) ceramics was studied by X-ray spectrum microanalysis. It was shown that Cu state changes in HTSC lattice are observed after such irradiation, whereas the states of Y and Ba are unchanged.
